Disable movement like at start of t1l2

Hi
Was wondering is anyone knew how to, like at the start of the 2nd part of the first spearhead mission make it so that the player cannot move about but can still look arround untill the dilog is finnished? I tried the freezeplayer command but it didn't let me look arround and i also tried the $player physics_off command but it didn't work for some reason.

Try to put a clip around the player with targetname "playerclip" or what.
Then when it's time to let your player start, put this in the script.

$playerclip remove

Then it should work.

You might want to also reference the .scr file for that SP mission, for the scripting part. Otherwise, what JV said should work good.

btw, if you want the effect of movement-try using a moving camera, there's a tut here or at mohtut.8m.com i think

They also used cameras. I think the parachuting part was animation or cameras???
