Max Surface Error

I tried a search for this problem but didnt find anything usefull
Now i have a totally basic room giving me this error
i also downloaded a test map from a tutorial and still get the same error

so i know its not my map what could it be?

Yes,I have gotten that error before.The problem was one of my mods,so what you should do is remove all your mod pk3 files.And see if the error is gone, it should be.Then put your mods back one at a time,till you find the one that is causing the error.

I had that problem when ever I used a sphere with too many sides or other compex curves . maybe if you have several simple patches that have been bent alot you can click on them and choose complexity on the curves menu and decrese some of them you can do that several times without changeing the patch much smoothes the curves a bit don't over do it .

Simple as that. Remove custom pk3s and put them back when playing.
Live to map, not map to live.
