need compiling help please!
ok here is the deal. Im familiar with radiant and compilers. I tried using mbuilder. I followed the instructions, and i even read nemesis tutorials. When i try to compile i get an error message (i used the ">bsp.txt" to see what the errors were) All it shows is the list of commands for bsp. mbuilder points to mohaa for the game .exe, it points to mohaa tools for the compiler, and to mohaa\main\maps\dm for the maps i made. Isee the map files, i just cant seem to get any compiler to work. I got the same result from mohpile. It really is driving me crazy, when i see some really nice maps from the MOH community. Im running on XP pro, and i tried the compatability mode as well for 98/me. I would really appreciate some feedback, because i'm definitely doing something wrong. GTK and Q3 build spoiled me!
DM
Don't use the dm folder for your map files. Put them under a new folder name somewhere else. In the maps folder or in MOHAATools will be fine, but use a new folder name ("My_Maps" or something).
In "other options" for the complier uncheck everything except "Copy BSP to map directory (set by game type) after compile" and click on singleplay. For now, turn off all options for BSP VIS and LIGHT.
After you compile (if it works) move the bsp from the maps folder (maps is the singleplay folder) to the dm folder. For some reason, it never seems to work when I ask it to make a copy in the dm folder and that might be your problem too.
