Problems with sdk

Post by Poo Throwing Monkey »

I am having problems compiling my maps with the sdk. Do I need something new to compile my maps or just change some pathawys. All I can do is use radient. Is there another program for the sdk stuff or not. Any help would be nice.

Don't use the MoHRadiant interface look at these links;

http://map.moh-central.net/tutorials/basic_compile.php - MBuilder

http://map.moh-central.net/tutorials/ad ... piling.php - Batch File

Are you getting any errors, such as a leak ??

They are the reason your map won't compile. Try loading the *.lin file into MoHRadiant and following the red lines.

I think you have to open the map file in Radiant, then click File -> pointfile. I'm not sure having never come across this problem yet (touch wood).

However you mentioned you have alot of leaks, which sometimes makes this method difficult.

A .lin files is created when you have a leak. A .prt file is created when there's no leak.
Live to map, not map to live.
