wind speed?

hey all
i was play the single player game yesterday and was looking at a bush on the snipers town that was blowing really wildly in the wind i was just wondering how do u set which way the wind blows and how hard to blow?

Most of the maps use weather.scr I think which does it pretty much randomly I think. I think you can set the value of level.wind to set it yourself though. Think its level.wind or something like that anyway, have to look in weather.scr :)

*edit*

just checked it and you can put -

setcvar "r_static_shadermultiplier1" 10

or whatever number instead of 10 - the value changes how much the trees wobble around. You'd have to add the wind noise to it I dont think theres a wind direction but theres a slant that you can set for the rain using -

level.rain_slant = "250"

or whatever number you want

thx man i havent tryed it yet but i would also like to add that i have smoke in one of my maps and it blows a certin direction as well is there a script line that would change the direction of the smoke?

Just change the angle of your fx_smoke entity. The smoke will blow in the direction of the angle-arrow. For more precise adjustments, you should use the 'angles' tag. You can then rotate your entity in all directions.
