Custom Textures
is it possible to include custom textures in my map without having them implemented in the original pak1.pk3 or pak2... for instance a custom door that i include at some dir (i dunno wich
) in my .pk3?
Yes absolutly. All you have to do is......... Sorry i am not home so I cant really explain anything but yes you can. Try doing a search on this topic. See at the very top of the screen where it says search? Press that and type whatever you want this should give you somesites and links people posted on how to make custom textures. BTW if you want textures to have specific sounds You have to have a shader......... meaning some scripts.

You should include textures in the folder "texture" and then maybe some subfolder. If you want sound and stuff for it you must also make a shader for it.
yourpk3.pk3 should include the following folder
textures\yourcustommap\yourcustom.jpg (tga)
scripts\yourcustom.shader
Also remember!! IF YOU USE CUSTOM TEXTURES IN YOUR MAP....NEVER FORGET TO INCLUDE THEM IN YOUR PK3!
