is it possible to join 2 different brushes to make them a single one?
i'd aprreciate that...

no, unfortunatly you cannot make one brush out of two (or more) brushes.
What you can do, though, is turning them into a func_group . This way, you can select the whole group by first selecting one brush of this group and then press Ctrl+e to select the complete group.

Select both brushes and press ctrl + u.

You can only merge brushes that have at least one complete face in common. (does that make sense?)

Like this:
From left to right:
1st Two Brushes
2nd Put together, so they have 1 face together
Press Ctrl + u
3rd Voil?!
But:
It won't be possible to produce concave brushes
Where from do you know this?
