Origin texture is not only a good idea, it's the only one that works!

Could you give more details about your ladder?

1 thing at a time, not sure about the ladder yet but...

is this the 1st door u've made?

use the origin texture and insert it overlapping the door where the hinges are on the texture,

create the door with any door texture you like and press CTRL + F, this'll make it fit perfectly,

then select the 2 2gether and right clik func->rotatingdoor

you won't need anything more than that, if this still doesn't work then contact me on YAHOO MESSENEGER mr_crazy_nugget :D
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/

No its not the first door I made. I was working on an underwater map which would have doors that rotate but then it kicks me. And the ladder is like this

Yep. Even for the angle I put a guy by the ladder and pressed the 90 degree button so he was facing the ladder. So I knew what angle to use. but in the game I couldnt climb it.

Do you have other ladders in the map, that work?

Could you extract the not working ladder into a new box map and try whether it's still not working? If it does not, could you post it s/w (just the box with ladder)?

An entity of only an origin brush causes this error.
