Today, when trying to download a file, There is a screen which asks you to choose where to save it to, I accidentaly checked/unchecked a box which makes this screen appear. Can anyone help me get it back?
do you know what type of file you were downloading when you unchecked the box (btw the box you unchecked was "Always ask before downloading this type of file")
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/
When I dl zip files too they save to my temp internet files. I know right clicking save target as is another way, but it's troublesome. And some autodownload like filefront will not solve this prob.

This is how I do this in IE6:
1) Go to "Tools -> Internet Options..."
2) Select the "Security" tab
3) Select the "internet" zone
4) Press "Custom level..."
5) Under "Downloads" -> "File download" select "prompt" ( or if no prompt option, select "enable" ).
