Stairs, the twisting kind.

Well, I started to program when I was 12 years old on a Commandore 64 back in 1982. There really wasn't that many links to visit back then so i can't give you any good ones. However for information about PHP, which is what I used for the stair thingy, go to: www.php.net.
I would recommend that you by a book on Java programming, as its quick and easy to start with. No need to learn some outdated and overly complex windows API to get anything to appear on your screen.
Good luck

Well, it's a PHP script so you would need a Apache server and PHP to run it locally. This of course is not something that one would normally have installed on ones computer, unless it's moonlighting as a sever
. There is however quite a loot of free or cheap web-hotels out there that support PHP and if you have access to one of those simply upload the script, rename it to stair.php and it should work. There is of course not that big a point in doing that, as you could just as well surf to my stair.php page.
The source was more or less only there for the curious few who wanted to know how it was done.
I will however look in to making it a proper plugin for radiant (I've downloaded the plugin SDK from radiant homepage) at which point you will be able to use it offline and in radiant. (If I succeed)
Wish me luck.
