Positioning script objects

Post by HUNTER--{A}-- »

I am having a problem getting the uboat to point in the direction that I want. I am calling it as a script origin (it is going to be the obj to blow up) and have changed the angle settings in the Entity window. I have tried rotating it in the 2D view. It looks fine in radient, but once compiled it points a different way in the game.

Set 'angles' instead of 'angle'.

'Angles' is a vector of pitch, yaw and roll, so if you don't want to modify pitch and roll, and originally had an angle of '90', set key / value:

angles / 0 90 0

Thanks that helped  NEW problem: Once I rotate the sub it will no longer allow the bomb to be set. Blowing up the sub is the OBJ. ( I have the same problem with the Flak88) :(

Hey, I know this is an oldish topic, but did you ever figure out how to do this?
I've got the same problem. Script object facing the wrong way. Then I found this and lo, now it faces the right way but I can no longer set the bomb.
What the hell gives?! Argh!
