how do you make arches

ok i know i have been floding here with my arch prob so lets cut to the chase, can someone post here plz how do you make your arches i have porbs with radiant closing and end caps disappearing

have you tried doing the excellent tutorial from this site

/tutorials/arches.php

i got it looking exactly as in the tut and its not that hard, just follow each step at a time and jot down stuff that you might need to remember like the vertices and what each control ... (left, right, up, down)

if not try also this tutorial at nemesis, simple and good

well the nemisis link was bending a brush but yes i have look at it and the one here at .map but that is not the arch i am referring to or i have the wrong idea as to how to make it .......the half oval primitive and end cap arch does anyone use this or am i trying to do it wrong
