terrain help
i built terrain with easyGen and di what the tut said and i loaded in the MOHRaidiant but the textures arent theres its just blackand blue checkers should have the colours or is it ment to be like that
lol don't pm me, my mailbox is flooded.
Anyway, creat a brush, then go to LOD terrain-->create from brush.
Then you will see triangles in the brush. Press "v" and you'll see purple dots. Drag these purple dots up or down in the 2d or 3d view. I recommend 3d view, as you can see more objects.

There's a basic lod-tutorial on this site, so check it out if you like.
To answer the question: -if you get the black&blue-texture, it means Radiant could not find and load the textures you used for your terrain. I don't use Easygen (anymore) but I do know that you can set a path(directory) to the textures; so you should check that path or texture the brushes again in Radiant.
If you want to texture the terrain in Radiant, select all your terrain brushes (hold shift while selecting), then apply the common/caulk texture. When that's done, select only the top faces (triangles) using ctrl+shift+leftmouseclick (you can drag your mousepointer over the faces in the 3dview while holding down ctrl+shift).
Then select the texture(s) you want. Since the terain is made out of triangles, you can combine all kinds of textures.
