flagthread1????
I am trying to bring the mohaa missions into spearhead and for the most part it works I copyed pak5 renamed the missions by putting sp_ in front of them and doing the same for the scripts because spearhead wont let me play them with the original names . Any way back to my problem this works but except for m1l2a in that mission there are over 20 threads that are named flagthread1: flagthread2: .... etc I looked in the bsp to see if there was a trigger or a setthread for those threads nothing not even in the bsp at least not readable . and they won't execute when I play the mission in spearhead . this is the only mission like that . Anybody know what these threads are and how I might simulate the triggering of the threads without rewriteing the script
thanks
thanks jv and why play in spearhead well for one thing you can lean in single player and I can load any map I want when I lauch spearhead . The grenades seem more powerful and my sound is set up for spearhead my custom paks are in mainta etc etc and I just wanted to
well no luck with m1l2a the flagthreads are in the global/friendly.scr that is in mainta but won't work for some reason it dosen't even seem to be reading the script even though the console says the script is loading I put some messages in it to print to the screen but even they didn't show luckly that is the only script like that and so far exept for a minor script edit in mission m1l1 the other maps seem to work I had to make sp_loadout.scr and sp_loadout_precache.scr and I knew there was a minor edit to do in alarmer.scr I changed the mission completes to load my renamed maps I don't see any more problems I got as far as the subpens before I quit so we will see . I like it better the lean and rifles butting is great I even destoryed some equipment with a rifle but .
try this
In the m1l2a script, change:
exec global/friendly.scr
to
exec main/global/friendly.scr
Hope that works.
exec global/friendly.scr
to
exec main/global/friendly.scr
Hope that works.
