if they would support another engine here i would prefer Farcry much more then doom 3.

Doom 3 engine is very good indoor but outdoor i guess it will be just horrible you will need a monster machine.

But farcry can make simulare indoor effects but outdoor it's huge, very beautifull. You don't need a monster pc to have a decent fps and i've seen some movie footage of the mapengine and it's looks very easy to work with it because what you see is what you play.

hmmm I've never heard of Farcry....have to look into it...

As for a .map site for D3, I am still considering it....This site for MoHAA will stay for years to come and will cover Pacific Assault and the forthcoming 2nd expansion for MoH:AA ...

I was also thinking about setting up a site for the new Infinity Ward game (Call of Duty) mainly because a large part of the team from 2015 (who made MoH:AA) are @ IW and its a WW2 game with a modified Q3 engine - also EA arn't publishing it, Activision are and they tend to be a bit more open minded when it comes to things like releasing a full and proper SDK's.....

But i'm always open to ideas and offers of help (especially anyone who knows php .. *hint* *hint* )...

yea i guess call of duty will be a great game, if they really will do what they tell on their site and from the several pictures i saw from it, it will be mohaa look a like with a bit more realism en teamplay.

Surgeon you really need to take a look at farcry with the cryengine i even have been able to get a demo and a video preview.

As for Ghost Recon - I havn't played it and doubt I ever will, though if someone wants to start a .map site for it I would support them the best i could...hopefully we can make the .map name great

medal of honor rule!!!!! i think that .map should stay with that cos if not people will move to doom 3. Pacific Assault is going to absolutely rule and no one can forget the amazing touches that made medal of honor an amazing game. stick with medal of honor!!!!!!!

Made my first test room for Rainbow 6 - raven shield last night. Seamed to work fine. Though it uses the Unreal engine, and UnrealEd3 which might be heresy to mention here.
