of course you can: fill your map with pink panties!!! :D

what did you not understand? my english is so bad, maybe i just have to repeat s/th in other words (or with a different grammar!?) :?
For a completely new texture, you will have to:
1st draw a images of your grass
2nd make everything in that image but the grass transparent
3rd save it as a 32bit targa image (which includes the transparent part as alpha channel)
4th put it in textures/grass which in the moment is in the grass.pk3
5th adjust the texture name and path in the grass.shader
6th and finally you might have to adjust those f***ing parameters of the deformvertexes line to make them fit with the new texture

Anything unclear? Letmeknow. :)

sonsai: i just read the thread again: you want crop?! that's maybe s/th different! wasn't there s/o who tried to model them? maybe he's got something better than just textures?!

nuggets: I always have the feeling, we really should start a new carreer on the QE2, atleast my hopeless attempts to guess what you want to tell me would give us a full house every evening!

What do you think?

and this last one was really all foreign 2 me :?

we might have the same kind of humour, nuggets, but having a different language really doesn't make it easier, but anyway, go on! Maybe I'll catch your posts in the DOOM IV mapping forum!!!

Go to bed now, in 5 hours my daughter will jump on my belly wanting to be dealt with

Wacko I must say this looks pretty good from the screenie (the grass one ;)). I haven't tried it in game yet though.

And some mathematical lessons :D:
sin a = sin (180 - a + k * 360)

k = any integer

yes? yes! 8)
But for those parameters, I need to know for example whether a sinus function is using degrees (0-360?) or radian measure (0-2pi). And that's top secret until you sit down and try it out...

And thanks for the compliment :D

Rox, me too! I was hoping that's finished when school was over... But to hear that from one of our #1 scripters...

Well most likely they're using degrees. I don't think you can use exact values like 'pi' in shaders :?.
