Interesting and very original 8). Do you have more screenies?

Hint for the water texture: use a mirror texture, looks very good (but bad for fps and hard to make).

Your prefabs are for HITP_Outpost. This is HITP_Caroline.

Sipping Martinis?

Post by Gen Cobra »

I agree. It is war after all. I'm not expecting to sip martinis on an island in the Pacific. I would rather be in a nice fox hole in a new Stalingrad. I'm obsessed with sweet shots in a destroyed war atmosphere. IMO. Just me maybe. Nice pics. I like the palm trees.

I have to say, there are too many destroyed village maps out there but, like everyone is saying, it is war. I do like your map though. I will definitely play it. Please don't make it as boring as Giligans Island though. I thought the screenshots were promising, but when I d-loaded it, I wasn't very impressed. The blue waters and palm trees here are cool, though! Looking forward to it!

Um if you didn't spend your time behind the local store playing hooky in school then you should know about the war in the Pacific. I would rather kill Germans. In Stalingrad. With a sniper rifle.

There are literally hundreds of authentic and unique settings for Pacific maps, far more than anyone could include in a mod. There are also many interesting settings in the Italian Alps, Norway, Greece, etc. I can't see why anyone would want to play the same type of setting over and over again. I had thought of doing the ski troops in the Alps, but I'm afraid the Pacific mod will be about the end of MOH for me.

That really looks nice, but it's way too nice for the map I'm working on. It will be a perfect HQ building for Camp O'Donnell (HITP_Bataan), though.

For HITP_Outpost, I need them to be much cruder and and only a step or two up, and one story tall, more like the other image I gave you.
