When I did the Vemork factory map, I worked 8-10 hours or more each day. For about 2 month. It was my first map ever, and I had never done any form of 3D modeling before so it took a really long time to complete it ( and to learn how to map at all ).

Dont spend so much time that you start to get tired of it... do it while its fun ( or until your girlfrieng threatens you with a knife  ).

Before my serious injury. 4-5 hours a a day. Now, 9-14 hours a day. 4 maps in planning stages, 1 map in full production, 3 mappers under my command making 4 maps , 2 for each person. (BTW I am in the hospital right now.)
My current production pics.

Mind you it's under construction.

Well other than walking 4 times a day this hospital ward is boring. I have my lap top hook through their phone line. I map most of the day and watch ww II movies like Enemy at the Gates, Harts War, Saving Private Ryan and the Band of brothers DVD collection of course.

During the holidays, about 8 hrs.

During school days, about 2 hrs.

Oh if you go to www.imdb.com they have lists of loads of films (use the search option) and if it looks good you could like order it thru amazon
