where are there textures? and alos my radinat crashed when i open genral_industrial or the other 1 why? so wheres the posts wooden ones

Try searching for wood.

crashes

It crashes because it runs out of memory space to load the textures. I have 256Mb of memory and it still crashes if I load to many textures into the preview window.

Along with that, make sure to have almost everything closed that you won't be using. And then if it continues, restart so your PC has more RAM cleared. You want as much RAM as possisble.

I have 512 Meg and my Radiant still crashes when I select a big texture folder - its just one of those things we have to live with and find ways around.....

512MB, radiant doesn't crash. If it's not responding, i wait for a while and it works again.

512 MB, Win98 + McAfee VirusScan: never crashed (even with CSG)
512 MB, Win XP Prof, no Antivirus software: no crash
512 MB, Win XP Home Ed, Norton AntiVirus 2003: crashes :evil:
