AI Machine Gunners

I followed your tut on machine gunners. At first the soldier is manning the mg42, but when he sees me he leaves the mg42 and just starts shooting at me with his rifle. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for the help.

i had the same problem....but he didnt shoot me at all....or even grab the machine gun, heh :oops:

Suggesting your machinegunner has targetname 'mg42_gunner', type this after 'level waittill spawn' in your script file:

$mg42_gunner.enableEnemy = 0

(shorthand for '$mg42_gunner exec global/disable_ai.scr')
