Connecting Brushes

Post by ArcAngel »

Blimey, now I have started posting topics I can't seem to stop!

Wonder if you guys can help.
I have some water that leads into more water!
But I have had to use 2 seperate brushes for the water.
Now when i walk in the map i can see where the 2 sides of the water brushes meet.
Can I bind these brushes together?
I have tried making the sides caulk, but then the water becomes solid and the player walks above the water rather than in it!!
ARGH!

Try textureing with "water skip". I think thats the name of the texture, but I'm not 100%.

For water brushes, use the common/nodraw texture for all sides. Put the water texture on the top and bottom faces.

Superb, that makes sense. I will try that when I get home.
Will let you know how I get on!
