.MIN file

im still trying to learn how to map, and following your all yout tut's (thanks!!!). I made my first room and everything and compiled it fine and went to load it but then said it couldnt find the .MIN file associated with my map. any help with this?? thanks

Do you use a Mac?

nope...no MAC...when i compiled it, it finished and started up MOHAA. got to the loading screen with the console up and amongst the mess in the console it said cannot find blah blah\first.MIN (first is what i named it)

Normally, the game creates the .min file the first time you run the map. However, people with Apple computer can't run the map without it pre-made.

Try renaming a copy of another min file to first.min and place it in the same folder as your first.bsp file.

i tried renaming another .min file....it worked....but it froze it at the same spot and still cant get it to load properly. very fustrating when your learning :x
