So my map is finished and ready to be released, but I'm hung up on a loading screen problem. I've followed the tuts on custom load screens to a tee and still I can't get my custom pic to load when I start the map. I just get a blank white screen where the pic should be.
My pic is a TGA...I've set up all the necessary files (shader, urc, etc.) but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

32bit TGA
The picture has to be a 32bit tga or it wont work. There is a thing in the sader that says "force 32..." and maybe if you change that, the one you have now will work.

Darn, no edit on this forum.
Try changing the SHADER to read "force24bit", but if that doesn't work you'll have to change your tga to 32bit.

Here is what you can do! To check if your scripting is OK, copy one of the original loading pictures for a DM level. Rename it so it fits to your scripting and load the map. If the picture turns up OK you'll know that you have done the scripting part right and have the right folders.
IF so then the problem is you custom picture. It must be a 512x512, 32 bit tga picture with an alpha channel. Not all programs can add alpha channels, when I make pictures I use PS 6.0, I don't remember exactly how it's done but try and mess with it. When you save there is a box to check that has something to do with alpha. If you want you can open a copy of an existing loading picture and show layers, you will then see what an alpha channel for a loading picture looks like.
