Not enough Quota to process this command... what the...?!?

Hi, me again with a problem...

I compile a map to look at what's done, adding extra sky to hide unfinished map sections. When i exit and restart MoHradiant, i usually get a "Not enough disk quota to process this command" error when i try to open the .map file or when i'm browsing with windows explorer to read any help or other files. All my desktop icons dissappear then come back all aligned, f**in' up my desktop arrangement and i usually have no choice but to reboot. some times the menu options in radiant can be clicked but no menu appears... is it a known issue that i just haven't read about?
Could it just be my hard-drive not working properly?

Though mapping looks fun and i enjoy it, all the crashes, despite what i thought, are annoying me...

BTW, i live in QC, I'm trying to make a map of a portion of Battlefields

Sounds like you are running short of hard drive free space. Most graphic using programs (like games and the editor) must have lots of free drive space to operate at peek preformance. Your drive's free space is also used as vertual memory when there isn't enough normal computer memory for a running application.

You don't need to rush right out and buy a bigger hard drive or add more memory to your computer. Just clean up your drive and dump all the old junk you don't use anymore. And, shut down any unnecessary background programs you may have running before using the editor or the compiler.

Well, i must say i don't need a bigger drive, i have a 80Gig in but, partitionned... that might be the cause... my windows is on a 10gig NTFS partition, with 4.5Gig free and i have another patition with what's left. Anyway, if i need it, i have a 40 sleeping in a bag, but i guess my Windows partition is not big enough...

I was thinking about a format and a new install, maybe it's about time i do so. Gonna put XP instead of 2K, it has a better memory management if i'm not wrong.

XP is good choice... and it would be best if your hard drive was in FAT32 format... well thats what i run on and have noticed big difference
