Fit to face

Post by tltrude »

Ctrl F makes the texture "fit the face". If you don't want the whole texture on a face, you have to use key S and adjust it by hand. Remember, you must have the texture and the brush/face selected before you hit Ctrl F.

Nevertheless 'ctrl+f' is a nice tool. Atleast you can then press 's', take the value from e.g. the horizontal scale and enter it in the field for the vertical scale. Or you could first make the face square (same height as width), press then 'ctrl+f' and then resize the brush (just for square faces, of course) 8)
