Why?

Post by Snake »

when i play my map on my pc with a Gforce2 mx440 it runs good, but i tested my map on my brothers pc he has a radeon 9700 pro and my map plays very bad. (the original maps runs good on his pc)
His pc is the same as my pc but only with a better Gfx card.

plays?

What do you mean by "plays"? It is probably because he has different video and advanced options set. If you turn down the detail level the ground will look bumpy--his should be on max detail.

Yes, like tltrude said, the advanced options must be differant. I recommand completly taking off "Shadows". I think that they are completly useless and only lag down your PC.

Two of my buddies have bought those high-end, want to be gamer, ATI cards and had horrible problems with all there games!!! Either ATI has produced crap once again and/or there drivers are junk.

Ill stick with my cheaper and better performing Gforce 4 TI :)
