i think it would be a good idea to do a 'puttting it all together' tutorial showing the layout of scripts and where they each go. There are sperate scripts for tutorials such as AI patrolling, Working Fans, Objectives, Giving the Player some weapons etc. It would mess up your script file if you bunged them in one after another with no order and you would be repeating various things in each tutorial script.

I would like to see step by step in how to get you .pk3 working right so that i can send my map to mates (when i say "I" i mean everyone)
so that i can use my map as a multiplayer map.

what about a good mapping habits tutorial talking about:
- why caulking is so important _ _
- how to make corners on buildings: _ /|

- good vis design
- and anything else good mappers do

I was thinking of writing an add-on tutorial on using lod, including the use of heightmaps. Some time ago I made a small example map so I might just do that some day. But it's a lot of work to make a good tut and right now my own map needs me. However if I do finish the tut I'll send it in.
Yeah, a more detailed tut, or different techniques to work the terrain, would be very nice. Any soon to be released tut addon on this?
Thanks, appreciate this forum a lot!!!

i think it's a big part of making the terrain look real, am i right?
So having a bit more detailed tutorial on it would be nice. I know that trying things help learning them but having some more infos would help very newbies, like me

making a .pk3 is EASY. you just need Pakscape or winzip! to make a map in a pk3 just create a folder named maps and put in all you compiled map files. then send it to compressed folder with winzip by right-clicking and 'send to > compressed folder' rename it 'user_whatever.pk3' and put it in the mohaa>main folder. if you are using pakscape then drag the 'maps' folder to the pakscape new window and save it as a pk3 in mohaa>main to run you have to bring up the console in mohaa and type 'maplist'. select your map and double-click. there youy go!
if this was a little off topic then sorry, but i had to. dont know why, i just had to.

What about a scripting tut? Ya in some other tuts they teach you how to create what is going to be using a script but they dont show you how to script that object(trigger, etc). They think that you know a little about scripting already when you dont. I think it would be a very important tut for begginers.
