Is this a problem
I got it to save as a .scr but it thinks it is a screen saver and when i try to open it to edit it it says xxxx.scr is not a valid win32 application is it supposed to do that or not?
having come to mapping and scripting business, you won't give your pc much time for screen savers anyway
so best is to add a new file type with extension scr and link it to notepad or what you like to edit script files with.
This will overwrite the former meaning of the scr extension which in fact lets windows think it has to handle a screen saver.
You can do this in every folder window in menu extra/folder options/file types (or similar..). There you'll find a list of registered extensions/file types. Select new, enter scr, press advanced, enter an appropriate link to another application. This is a rather vague translation from my german windows into english, so you might have to search a little...
it was rather stupid to give scripts that extension, but speaking for myself, i never wanted to execute/open
screen savers...
