Turning objects around

Hi all,
once again ive got a problem but this one might be easyier than the last one to figue out.
all i want to no is how do you turn objects around,objects like trucks carts and tables.
if you now how then plz tell me

select object, press n, choose an angle in bottom left part

also how do u make them totally solid? i can only make the box in the middle solid but can walk through the rest and i need it all fully solid

you'll have to build extra brushes with a clip texture around it.
which clip texture (e.g., common/woodclip or common/metalclip) you choose, depends on the object material, as this defines the sounds walking on the brush and i think also the kind of debris and decals when you shoot at it.

so say if i had a truck and i wanted it full solid i would just get its texture up in the texture box a sort of fill it with that texture?
is that wot u mean?

this is what i mean: build additional brushes around, over or in the truck model

I've yet to try and clip a model... sounds hard :lol:

it's not that hard... 8)
just build the rough shape of the model and texture it with a clip texture.
you won't have to rebuild any details, because players won't recognize the difference anyway.
