r_showtris ???

OK, I run mohaa off of a link that has this info in the target :" +set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1". Im told that if I dont and try to run r_showtris I will get an error "cheat protected". I save the new target info and run mohaa. I type "r_showtris 2" to active the command and I get the dang error still.

Im not running a dedicated or internet server...simply a lan host. Do I have to serve it on my pc and then join it also? Do I have to serve it on another pc and then join?

What am I doing wrong? I would like to see the effects of this command in my map:(

Try entering "cheats 1" in the console

And it will tell you that it will be activated after restart. Then restart from a blank link.

I got it o work finally....had to enter the map useing the "maplist" command instead of the normal process.

Bjarne BZR, your vis guide is great but that part needs to be fixed
