Midle click to manipulate camera?

Post by MoG_John »

in the tutorial on how to manipulate a camera it says to middle click your mouse. I only have a 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel and do not know how to move my camera around. I know this is a VERY noob question but if someone would be kind enough to help an old guy trying his hand at map making I would greatly appreciate it. TIA

ALSO in 3d view how do you turn the camera so it is looking at the ground?

Usually the scroll wheel is the third button. Try pressing it downwards. Though you might have a totaly different mouse than me.

I use the icon with just an eye and no number. To move around you hold the right mouse button down and move the mouse around the center of the 3d window. Hold Ctrl and it moves up/down and left/right. You can also use the arrow keys.

Thanks guys I figured it out, but it sure would make it easier to "center" the mouse in the brush if I had the middle click lol
