tracing textures,possible????

tracing textures,possible????
is there a way to trace a texture that radiant says that you have in your map ?? i have this texture in my map that i have not chosen and it is called caveset1 bs1 i have no idea where this came from and this is not the first time this texture has came up...............i see it no where in the map

Go to Edit -> Find / Replace texture...
You will see this window:

... fill in the name of the texture and common/caulk as in the picture.
The caulk texture is not drawn in the game, but highly visible in Radiant ( pink and yellow checkerd ).
BE SHURE TO SAVE YOUR MAP BEFORE PULLING A STUNT LIKE THIS!!!

to find that hidden texture!!!
when using select from texture you must have only one selected face
this will then highlight in red (select) all the brushes using that texture
but... your saying i don't know where this texture is... so...
create a new brush and apply the texture to only 1 face, then with the selected face repeat the previous step and hey presto it'll show u exactly where it is
remember to delete the new brush u created
