If a player is 'notsolid', can he go through a clip brush?

umm.. technically yes - but how are u planning on making a player nonsolid ??? The only way for a player to become nonsolid is by typing noclip into the console and even then the server has to have cheat mode running...

It would be better to make the wall notsolid by turning it into a script_object.

no what i want is a wall so that the player cant exit the warehouse. the player enters the warehouse via truck, and must pass through that clip brush. my idea was to make him notsolid as he passes thru during intro, but afterwards make him solid so he cant leave.

If the clip brush is a script_object with a trgetname, you can move it around too.
$myclip moveUp 128
$myclip move
wait 10
$myclip moveDown 128
$myclip move

Why not make the clip a script object like tltrude said and make it notsolid then later after the player enters make it solid .
