I started building a website.

Tonight I started laying out a design for my website, I have to make one, its stupid that I dont have one, I have some server space and all i do is post files.

Heres a link to where I got so far, its just a jpg saved from photoshop, nothings clickable, what ya think ?

Cheers, I just added some Flash to it, all I have to do now is get the links working and I am done, 2 days, whew.

Thanks, I just this minute uploaded the latest version, almost everything works now, just need to update the movies and the music selector. Wallpaper, maps and skins are ready for download, I wont be updating the movies or music for a few days, I really should leave the house for a while and get some fresh air.

I think your site is great! Although the music is not my taste, I think I see a way to pause or stop it which is nice. The layout is good! Looking forward to all that you have yet to finnish like the movies and all. I enjoy the movies! BTW, you got any new ones coming out?

Thanks Ace, well I was gonna just convert the movies I have posted on here before to fit the site, when I get any new ideas I will post the results on the site, I will let you know when. Ah the music, I am not convinced either, not sure what to do there yet, though Cypress Hill seemed apropriate as I live in a horrible part of town where the crack boys shoot eachother almost weekly, all the guys in my team also live here so they liked it, I will play around with that as I get time, I have been doing nothing at all for 2 weeks at work but dont have flash on my machine here so I cant play around with the site which is bad, its hard to stay awake while I sit here doing nothing, but I still get paid so oh well....

Don't worry 'bout the music. It's not my website and like I said, if there is a way to turn of the music, cool! If not, I will just turn down my speakers and let you all enjoy it if it's what the majority likes. I'm not here to change anything. You have talent my friend, and I don't want to let a little thing like the music keeping me from enjoying your handy-work! Keep it up! I just wish I had the know-how on how to make movies and I wish I had the time. I have given up on mapping for the summer because of this very reason but I still play the game as much as I can so no worries. Do you got any helpful hints on making movies? Anyway, can't say enough about what you do. I have your site in my Favorites so I will check back now and then. BTW, what do you do for work? I need a job like that! I'm an electrician and I'm so wiped by the time I get home, no energy or time otherwise to do this stuff. Have a great day Jack! We will stay in touch I hope!

Well I work as a graphic designer, mainly web stuff, though I do some print stuff every now and then. The most recent project at work is this, http://www.hellomoto.com if you navigate to the UK site, that what I do, the live site there right now is going to be updated in the next couple of weeks, thats why I am not doing anything at work, the client is just making sure all the new layouts are fine then it goes live. We have finished the site and once it gets OK'd we have to send out all the flash files and photoshop files to maybe 20 countries around the world where all that we made here in London will get translated into a bunch of other languages. My only task in the last two weeks was to make up some Word documents explaing to the foreign designers how to cut up the graphics ( which have to be pixel perfect ) so they sit on the page correctly.
