Free Wolfet Multiplayer Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Formerly an expansion pack, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is now a free, stand-alone multiplayer game featuring multiplayer support for as many as 32 players.

I don't know why they are giving it away free now, because it looks like a great game. It has six maps and they all look great. There are no "zombies" in this one and it is all WW2. Here are a couple of URLs to download it, and see some scrrenshots.

It can be played on GameSpy Arcade, direct with a friend, or using an in-game browser to hunt for servers. It has a new type anti-cheat system called PunkBuster, in-game voting, and player classes (soldier, medic, engineer, special-ops, etc...). I think the game may have bots too, but i haven't figured out how to turn them on. The below screenshot shows an Engineer building a bridge. The game will also make action replay movies, if you set it.




If you ask me, EA Games is going to take a hard look at this game before releasing the next Mohaa game.

We posted about why it was free a few months ago the company who made it were contracted by ID seemingly it wasnt working out.
They had some excellent ideas for SP (control a team of 4 with WASD and mouse only no extra keys)
The previews looked great in terms of what they wanted to do but ID felt it wasnt good enough to get the RTCW tag so they scrapped the Single player game and made MP free to download.

Longer story but in short ID didnt like it and dumped it they now making RTCW 2 themselves. Enemy terrortoy was to be in africa with NO zombies
