Compile and Wrong Version Number?

Ok I am new to making maps for MOHAA so this may sound like a dumb question. I have followed the set up and instructions for making a single room map with just one start point and a light. I used MOH:AA builder (Or Mbuilder as you call it here on the site) to compile the map to a BSP ect.
When it finishes, MOHAA loads and the console comes up with an error Click here to view a screen shot http://twigs_mbc.tripod.com/screenies/wrong_version.jpg

It says something about a wrong version? What is it talking about?

BTW, this is not the first time I have made maps for online games before. I have made a few maps for Swat 3 as well. I would like to think I know a little about maping but any help would be great.[/url]

You are using the Spearhead SDK to make MoH maps i think.

My guess is you are trying to load a spearhead map into Mohaa. Spearhead uses models that don't work in Mohaa and, if you use them, it must stamp the bsp with the Spearhead version number. It could also have something to do with the game patches for Mohaa and Spearhead.

(Edit: darn, I must learn to type a little faster :D)

There is a different version of radiant for Spearhead, looks like you've used it to make your AA map.
Maps that were made with this spearhead SDK won't run in Moh:AA. However maps that were made with the 'older' Mohradiant can run be run in both games.

Don't know if this solves the problem, but it's the only thing I can think of when seeing that error-message.

Thanks, I think that could be part of the problem.
Now I have a new error......this is what I see in the consol now

"LOCALIZATION ERROR: "MOHAA Console' does not have a localization entry"

Any ideas?

ahh don't worry bout that one - its just caused by you editing for MoH - welcome to the Madhouse ! :lol:
