Sneak Peek @ New Look

Post by Surgeon »

OK, well i'm really annoyed with myself at the moment because I'm bogged down in the quagmire that is php programming. As I said before this has delayed the site makeover, but I want to show you guys what great work Pantera has done and what the site will look like. Therefore if you want a sneak peak at what the site will look at simply click here . I hope you like it, because I do..

Oh and the Poll is practically neck and neck between Half-Life 2 and Call of Duty (So much for Doom3). At present a .map site for Call of Duty is scraping it by 4 votes. The Poll will close on Saturday, so if you want the chance to shape the future of the next .map site - Vote Now !

Great job Pantera and Surgeon. I really like the photoshop work. The design and for the most case the content too of pretty much every Mohaa related site is to say the least pretty crap. Now this one actually has the right content, attitude and now a really great look, its a winner, keep it up, good job.
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

What PHP editor do you use? Or do you code by hand.. I hate coding by hand.

... right now the logo fits the rest of the design and it's recognizable. But I'm always open to suggestions, mOg ,-)

As am I. With the new site design, changing the logo in the future shouldn't be much of a problem...

Adjustable

Post by tltrude »

You should really try to make the page adjustable to all screen sizes. There is a lot of empty space on both side with my 17" monitor. Normally that is done with automattically adjusting spacers on either side of the top logo.

On my 17" monitor @ 1152x864 it looks fine? I wouldn't know how to make the page adjustable to all screen sizes without screwing up the top(banner) bar... I'm not saying it can't be done, but I think I could only make the top graphics tile in the middle and then the banner will have empty space on both sides. Banners, sigh :|

eh-ehm.....I tried the link and it didn't work. Am I too late to see the sneak peak? I know I've been gone for awhile so catching up is hard to do.
