why is your character always US? Britain were in the war way before US! and i know the US saved our ass but we saved theirs in WW1!

i hope theres a New Zealend or Australian or British lead role in Pacific Assault. Cos' we fought against japan aswell you know.

It has more to do with number of people who play/buy the game than who rescued who unfortunately. The US is the biggest single games market out there and to sell more games it helps that the main character is american.....bring on Call of Duty - you get to play as a Yank , a Limey and a Russian...

Come on, only the most optimistic person will hope for this expansion to be anything more than a poorly designed cash-in from EA.

Call of Duty is much more likely to create the experience you're all looking for. Activision are much better at supporting their products post sales and the designers know how to make a good solid game.

I will not be following the hype for this expansion and I certainly will not buy it. I made that mistake when I bought SH (even though it was second hand and very cheap).

MoH: Pacific stands a greater chance of pulling it off than this expansion, as the developers are not EA. Even then, they are an unknown entity and I'll bet EA lean heavily on them before releasing the product and then booting them off of the project.

We'll see 2 patches and that will be it.

And then HL2 will be out... EA won't be seeing my money again, that's almost certain.

But seriously it is overlooked as a country whose troops fought well and bravely in the War. As did many Aussies / New Zealanders, Indians, Gurkhas, Greeks etc etc...Its just that the UK / US and Russia were seen as the main 3.....
