Cathedral Arena

Post by Reish Vedaur »

This is a mid-sized map. One room, lots of pillars, high ceiling with arches. Not as well-lit as I would have liked it, but if I had it that way, you'd have 5 FPS, and that's out of the question. Also the stain glass windows aren't the best....
At any rate, I unfortunately can't provide a direct link; Brinkster doesn't like that. I have to send you to my website. http://www26.brinkster.com/reish/mohaamaps.html

If someone wants to host a picture for me for this post I'd be grateful, but I'm not gonna beg ^^;
My warning meant nothing. You're dancing in quicksand. Why don't you watch where you're wandering? Why don't you watch where you're stumbling? You're in knee-deep and going in, and you may never come back again.

First off, the architecture looks good, from what I can see of it.

You need to change the textures to add more variety. As well I think you need to hit the natural button with those ceiling textures selected, they look squished.

Good job though

Alright, I've changed the textures of the floor and the outer perimeter walls. I'll get a screenshot of it posted as soon as Sonsai comes back online ^_^ Thanks for the tips! Version 1.1.LC is now up and available for download. (LC = Lower Complexity; the ideal version had much more complex curves, but the framerate was horrendous that way)
