Introduction and question: IRC channel?

tja!

Im a 2 week old mapper from south of Sweden and I think im doing allright at the moment with the mapping biz. I find this site as the best one ot there (that i know of

) and the people here are great and friendly. M'like!

No flaming and things thank god. Now by accident i saw that you have IRC channel for us mappers, but the only one I see there is Bjarne. I know alot of you guys are on the stateside (me eurokid), but do you guys use this channel or do you on 'hang' in the forums!? Can you give tips on other good mapping sites for mohaa!

Also wanna thank Surgeon for a great site, dont give it up! It's a fantastic site, fast loaded and stuff... no bulky, heavy graphics that takes bandwith.

i always like site with at least 4 pics of a level and a few download sites where you can get the map from. And your own little review. Plus updated by your self

Tips
#1 make sure all your links work. I hate it when they have an email for broken links. I once emailed them and got nothing back.
#2 Have more then 4 pics of Ingame play of a certain map. From your screenshots.
#3Have a pros and cons list/opinion etc on the map.
#4have at least 2 download links for the map.
#6 Have links to good mapping sites. .MAP TMT My site.

The IRC channel...hmm well I am there occasionally but not much - when I set it up i was expecting more people to join in but only a few stopped by so it kinda slipped into obscurity......

Hi Yarik!

Have you been to my site?!
As you can see, its half in swedish and half english at the moment... conversion to english coming soon. I had pictures of my development of my map, but i took them off... not much to show and i rather keep it secret for awhile

I hate those broken links myself, ugh.
Everything's changing on my site except the look. I like to keep it simple and clean and m0g.mine.nu is my site mainly for mohaa, but also other games that i like. Its not supposed to be a portal of of such , but more like a collection of tips, links for good usefull information. Links to other good sites i got, except TMT, which i think is going through a redesign or something? (when its finished, yes) I will add your site aswell if you get rid of those popups

hehe. Im transfering from angelfire to planetmedal. Im too lazy to upload the rest of my pages. The only page that is in planetmedal if the index page. the rest are still on angelfire. therefor have popups. once I upload the rest I will update my site. Since it going through another MAJOR overhaul. BTW what php editor do you use? it looks nice. I want to start to code in PHP.

nah, the only part thats php on my site is the guestbook. everything else is handmade by me (pure html)
