The Falls 2.0 by Col. Polyp & Woodell Bobba

Outside DM/TDM map with mountains, houses, a working cable trolley and many secrets.
Great for sniping but also for person-to-person battling with slightly bigger groups of players.

New in this version is the possibility to play a Team-match. In the previous version it could only be played as a Free for All game. To spice up the action, another secret tunnel is included.

"The Falls" is the first in a series of DeathMatch maps for Mohaa created by Col. Polyp and Woodell Bobba, both members of the Netherlands-based FS-clan.

The idea was to create a map in which the player can reach high altitudes such as mountain tops and great depths but still be able to get anywhere within a few seconds. The map had to have a lot of secrets to enable player to continually surprise each other by turning up in unexpected spots.

I just thought this map could need some attention, so get it at:

*EDIT: This map is not mine ! and I do not have contact with the authors !

Indeed a very fun map, a bit crudely made, and some issues with texturing, lod and z-fighting...

When the site doesn't load, you can go to http://www.alliedassault.us to get it !

Lowest fps around 50, 100 is tops... both on max detail (1024x768)

Graphicscard is a Radeon 9700 Pro 128 MB; system is P4 3000 Mhz; 1024 Mb memory...

So will be a challenging map for most systems...

Wow, that's refreshing for a custom map. Nice to have something different for a change. Really nice map.

I averaged about 30 fps that's with 1.7ghz, 512 Mg, and 128 Mg vid card.

I've had this map for a while (maybe it was only v.1, I dunno, but it doesn't look like it changed much), so I can vouch for it; it really is an awesome map. Playability-wise it's not the greatest, but that only makes it more realistic.
My warning meant nothing. You're dancing in quicksand. Why don't you watch where you're wandering? Why don't you watch where you're stumbling? You're in knee-deep and going in, and you may never come back again.
