Playing MOH:AA Single Player Maps in :SH

Post by Reish Vedaur »

I keep asking this question on other forums, and I keep getting the same non-responsiveness...

I want to be able to play the original Allied Assault single player missions on Spearhead, or with Spearhead's new grenade throwing and leaning rules; either way would be good. I copied all of the .bsp, .min, .scr and other such files into a new .pk3 and made it in the correct directory structure. They were listed just fine in the map list. But after trying to open it, it just.. didn't do anything. It'd close the map list and look at me much like a lot of other people have: dumbfounded as to why I'd want to do this in the first place.

At any rate.. can someone help out? What am I overlooking?
My warning meant nothing. You're dancing in quicksand. Why don't you watch where you're wandering? Why don't you watch where you're stumbling? You're in knee-deep and going in, and you may never come back again.

After removing the .pk3, they were still there, listed in the maplist. But, same problem.

I did that my self most of the missions will work but it takes a bit of editing in a couple of them . What you do is rename the missions and briefings put sp_ in front of the name of the mission m1l1.bsp becomes sp_mil1.bsp also the script has to be renamed too . I think that m1l1 has to be edited and the global/alarmer.scr for one of the later missions . The beach animations for omaha beach are in testanimations and the level plays but they don't lie down like they should . The grillo mission only works for a while then you hit a gate that won't open .

Hmm... well, I guess it'll be a fun project for me, then. ^_^
