Could this be my problem?

When I save a map in mohaa radiant it only makes a .bak and .map and nothing else! Aren't there more? Could that be the reason the compiler isn't working for me?
I'm new to mapping!

No thats alll it makes. Are you using MBuilder to compile? I am pretty sure the only neccessary file to compile is the MAP file.
I dont have time to do this.

when you compile maps, all you need is the .map file. the .bak file is a "backup" copy. if you rename that extension to .map, you can open/use it just like a .map file.

after you compile a map, the file you need is the .bsp. thats the compiled version of ur map. after the first time you run the .bsp, you get a .min file. save that too. it makes the map load faster, and enables mac users to play ur map.

You MUST have all the paths correct, or it wont work.

Mine are set like this, but your paths will be different:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA
C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOHAATOOLS
C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA\MAIN\MAPS\TLTRUDE
