leaning is a habit of mine i dont think about it, i just press the a and z key at the same time to lean/strafe left and the d and c key to lean/strafe right.

You can't bind the two keys together easily.

Also you need a keyboard that can press more than three keys at the same time, otherwise you can only lean and not move forward or back

so you would be pressing the "w" key to move forward and switching with the "a and z" key and the "d and c" key to lean/strafe different directions

Now on the sharking issue, this is a glitch in the game and is cheating and is not tolerated on any well administrated server. Some servers now have scripts running so that if you attempt to shark you will trigger it too kill yourself

Yes leaning is unrealistic. But the game isn't fully realistic either. And seeing that EA is never going to patch this game again your going to have to deal with it if you dont like it. Ofcourse you could then run a script if the 2 keys a hit together that person be'd triggered to die, then number one if someone does it by accident they will be irritated and that you wont get traffic to your server....

I personally, am very very against cheating.... [/list]

super easy, look:

Code: Select all

bind a "+moveleft; +leanleft"
bind d "+moveright; +leanright"
but this kind of leaning i do not accept, this is just lame, and it looks lame aswell...

Could you message me how to do it anyway? I'd love to test out that patch, but I have to know how to do it in the first place x_x

And I hate cheaters as well; it's just good to know how to, to be able to prevent it.
My warning meant nothing. You're dancing in quicksand. Why don't you watch where you're wandering? Why don't you watch where you're stumbling? You're in knee-deep and going in, and you may never come back again.

I am a great clan player and also very intelligent ( I also look very good, but this is irrelevant at this point  ) so I would like to tell you where the cupboard should be ( direct translation if a Swedish proverb ).

Leaning is possible in both AA and SH ( but is turned off by default in SH ).
Leaning is good.
Leaning is hard to learn.
Binding the lean-strafe is cheating.
Regular use is not cheating.
Leaning back and forth while running and firing is not realistic.
Running in a straight line while someone tries to kill you is... stupid?... self destructive?

Basically: leaning is an easy way to allow players to run in an erratic pattern. It will not be completely realistic but it beats the alternatives.

Remember: The players can do full speed 90 degree turns without leaning... should we complain about this?

For this behaviour to be realistic, you would need a system of automatic leaning and acceleration/decelleration animations that would be VERY complex.

You ever seen a robot run?
Looked like shit didnt it?
Thought so....
