Is it possible to group 3 objects into 1?

I have two "I" shape pipes and one "U" shape pipe, is it possible to group them into one object? Thank you.

Well not really. but you could make them all into one func_group which will let you select the other parts after selecting one by pressing CTRL+E (or is it SHIFT+E?, hmmm no i think its CTRL or maybe ALT. Well try them all.)
