English Germans

Post by Alcoholic »

what would i have to do to the .tik file/other to make a german model speak english, with no errors or anything. or at least give them subtitles. like for example, if they say "fushagoo!" (or something like that) the text "attack!" should appear.

all of the axis team see what the other axis players say, like "Nein!" would appear as "UnnamedSolider(team): No Sir!" and when they say taunts that shows in the message bar too.... so you dont really have to change anything unless you want everyone to see the axis team commands, wouldnt that be a cheat?

You could add subtitles to their dialog aliases in uberdialog.scr :?

People don't like maps with uberdialog changes in them . If every map you downloaded had them only one will be used the last one loaded . In spearhead you can make a ubersound2.scr and it will loaded along with the original but I don't know about mohaa . It whould be better to make a custom tik like the sound fixes and precache it for your map so only your map will load it .
