Some of you may be familiar with Unrealty; for those of that are not, Unrealty was a stand alone application that utilized the Unreal engine to create navigable clientside maps; these maps could be anything - a proposed building (useful for architects) that lets the client do walkthroughs, model home walkthroughs and so on. The beauty was that users could actually meet a serverside "guide" that could walk them through. One of Unrealty's gems was the Cathedral of Notre Dame.
What would it take to do the same thing with MOHAA Radiant? Imagine the user being able to install a simple application (not the massive MOHAA itself) that would allow them to walk the streets (safely and without hostiles) of 1944 Carentan, St Mere Eglise or Bastogne.
How is this done? What would it take to do the same thing utilizing Mohaa/Q3 technology? Let me close by stating that my motivations are purely educational and not commercial.

Wow - they're still around; here's the web address:

Poke about and you'll see what I mean. I would gather that the same format could done using MOHAA / Q3 technology. Think about how cool it would be to walk the 105mm placements of Brecourt Manor.
A relative note:
I have read feedback from WWII vets about WWII games, and the consensus is that they don't see how anyone would want to play a game based on war; they would know since they went through it all; however, if you took out the bullets...the explosions...maybe you could get one or two in there with you...walking along...pointing things out.
Call me a dreamer!
