New tutorial (Textured Models: gMax>Ms3d>MohRadiant)

Post by m0g »

(its way past bedtime, 08.11am, phuh...)
After an allnighter trying to get my textures into Milkshape3D from gMax I finally decided to rewrite Yarik's great Modeling tutorial, because jimmyjbo had a postregarding this, and I realized that I had the same problem... well here it is.

Pls give me feedback if there's something i missed out or did wrong.
Enjoy!

Finally a proper tutorial has arrived by m0g, explaining all the steps for how to get your models-materials-textures from Gmax/3ds max---->Milkshape 3d---------> into MOHRadiant.

I love it , it helped me a lot. It includes pictures too(very important//lol

What more can i say.

Thanks a lot m0g and BRAVO

Nice to hear that you liked it, allthough im not an expert on these programs, so if you got questions i'll see if i can answer them, im sure there's probably someone else who know these programs better.
Actually trying to model my first custom weapon now....

Hello again guys

Is there a way to control the scale of your models in order to have correct dimensions in the MOH Radiant world?? I've seen somewhere in this forum some info about it, but i don't remember where. You have to import a MOH model in LR 3d or Milkshape and scale your model compared to the MOH model. Is that correct, anyone know please help???

Thanks
