water spray

I'm having some difficulties in getting some water spray effects to show up in my map. I have some water falls working & want some "splashes" where they meet the water. I have put in (fx,water spray) & started it "on" & it still won't show up in my deathmatch map, or singleplayer. I also tried (animate,fx,water spray) & still no luck, any ideas? also sound for the splash is my next step, ubersound will be the place to go for that one I see.

You have to "start" the animaton in your script.

$falls_spray1 anim start

You must give the entity a targetname like the one above (falls_spray1). The line can just go under prespawn.

There is no waterfall sound in the game, so I made this one:

http://pages.sbcglobal.net/tltrude/Temp/waterfall.wav

You will need to do an ubersound workaround to get it to work in the game. And, here is the alias I made for it:

aliascache waterfall_snd sound/amb/waterfall.wav soundparms 1.5 0.0 0.5 0.0 1200 10000 auto loaded maps "obj dm obj_dam "
