Yet another compiling problem...

Post by Hashmark13 »

ok then... to start off im going to say that i am sick of directories... ive checked them hundreds of times but still every single time i try to compile my map it bothers me constantly with things about 'press any key to continue' in the DOS Prompt window. when ive hit a key untill it finishes up its little thing and launches the game... it still manages to not be there(im talking about the map).
why is this? but when i got back into ...mohaa/main/maps/dm it has a .vis .bsp .lin and a .bak file all with the name of my map, 'First Map', at the beginning :-S email me at fizzy217@junkmail.com if you know wtf is wrong or if you want more info so you can have an idea of wtf is wrong :)

Ok heres the process I go through during complieing....maybe it will help you.

First I have a folder under my mohr install called "new project" which is where I keep my .map files and where I direct Mbuilder to place the .bsp and the other files it makes. In the other options section of Mbuilder I uncheck all the boxes except for the "copy BSP to map directory". Now after your complie is done move your .bsp file to the mohaa/main/maps/dm folder.

Doing it this way you will know for a fact that a bsp has been made and that mohaa should see it in the dm map list.
